[Exclusive Contractors] are former NGO workers disillusioned with punitive justice and the white-centric cultures dominating the international civil society sector. Through formal and informal complaints, open conversation, and resignation letters, they challenged their employers’ unexamined power-over practices.

In this writing, the duo works with Chai Dai words to trace a lingering past through fictional chats, murmurs, and dreams—shaped by rage and rupture produced by characters and systems invested in centering white hegemony over the periphery. The work sits with what follows as disappointment, disagreement, and the will to abolish slowly transform: what remains, what lingers, and what refuses to disappear.
